Plastic Bubbles is a South African, family-owned packaging manufacturer specialising in injection and blow-moulded plastic solutions. Since its founding in 1975 by brothers Stratos and Menelaos Moutafis, the company has grown into a world-class, turnkey supplier, offering everything from in-house design and prototyping through to tool-room mould-making, production and logistics.

In early 2024, Plastic Bubbles engaged Infolytics to implement Zoho One, a robust bundle of Zoho business applications. The project encompassed Zoho CRM, Zoho Cliq, Zoho Social, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Analytics, Zoho Sign, and Zoho Forms, delivered via a phased roll-out with hands-on training and ongoing support. • Complex Recruitment and Onboarding Processes: Recruiting staff for various locations required a streamlined, centralized system to manage applications, track candidates, and facilitate onboarding. JF Kapnek’s previous systems involved manual processes that slowed recruitment and increased the administrative burden.

• Manual and Disjointed Expense Management: With frequent field activities and travel needs, tracking expenses and managing approvals were complex. The organization needed a way to automate and localize expense management to reflect Zimbabwean cities and financial requirements accurately.

By centralizing recruitment records, the organization gained better control over the recruitment lifecycle, reducing time-to-hire and improving candidate experience.

• Enhanced Employee Experience and HR Efficiency: Zoho People’s self-service portal empowered employees to view timesheets, and update personal information independently, reducing HR’s workload and enhancing employee satisfaction. Performance management features allowed for regular performance tracking and feedback, aligning with JF Kapnek’s goals of fostering growth and accountability within the organization.
